Due to the potential for multiple COVID related exposures, Savannah High School will be releasing today at 1:00 to allow for cleaning and disinfecting of High School Facilities as well as contact tracing notifications. High School bus routes will run, as usual, beginning at 1:00 pm. All athletic and extracurricular activities, including practices, will be canceled for Savannah High School students only.
All contacts of the positive cases WILL be contacted. Please do not call Savannah High School or the Andrew County Health Department with questions.
At this time we feel the positive cases were brought onto our campus via outside community contact. Savannah R3 continues to monitor the station and will send out updates as they become available. High School classes will resume tomorrow morning as scheduled.
