Savage Ambassadors are the faces of the Savannah High School student body. Ambassadors are selected from all classes and extracurricular activities to assist with the transition of incoming freshmen and new students throughout the school year. Ambassadors will serve as student hosts at a variety of school events.
As representatives for Savannah High School, Savage Ambassadors reflect all that is positive about the school; therefore, they are expected to adhere to the codes of conduct and appearance that are articulated in the Student Handbook. Failure to do so will jeopardize the student’s continued participation in the program.

Duties will include but are not limited to:
Attend a mandatory two-day training on Tuesday, July 30, from 3:30 - 5 p.m. and Thursday, August 1, from 10 - 11:30 a.m.
Provide tours on Freshmen and New Student Registration Days
Attend Open House
Attend Freshman Orientation
Provide tours to prospective and new students
Participate in Savage Lunch the first week of school
Attend school events
Assist with transition activities the first few weeks of school
Serve as a Savage Host at school events - students are required to volunteer for 3 activities

Applications to be a Savage Ambassador for the 2019-2020 school year will be linked here in April.

The Savage Ambassador sponsors are Mrs. Karen Taylor and Mrs. Amanda Wilmes.
