On February 20, Taylor Owen and Grace Bradley will attend Wrestling Sectionals at Platte County High School, MO. The girls have worked hard all season and are grateful that they have had the opportunity to have a full season due to the harsh circumstances they have had to overcome.
“I have taken away confidence and worked hard for what I wanted. If you don’t think confidently then you won’t wrestle your best. If i could change anything I think I would change having more people at the meets and tournaments; not having much of a fan section makes it kind of sad. Having fans there makes it fun and you get a reaction on the mat,” Junior Grace Bradley said.
The girls believe that it will be difficult at Sectionals but are working hard at practice to prepare. If they place in the top four they will advance to State. We wish the girls good luck!
