TeacherEase
What it is: TeacherEase is our Student Information System (SIS).
What it’s used for: You can manage lunch money, attendance, grades, online registration, and contact information all in one place. Plus, you can easily email teachers.
Why download it: TeacherEase helps you stay on top of your child’s academic progress and school-related activities. It's a must-have for parents who want to stay informed.
How to access: Available for custodial parents and guardians. Contact your school secretary for an account. Accessible via the app or online.
Notifications: Choose from push notifications, text messages, email, or phone calls.
Cost: Free in the App Store.
Savannah R3 App
What it is: The mobile version of our SR3 website.
What it’s used for: Quickly access lunch menus, school calendars, and more, all in one convenient app.
Why download it: No login is required, and it’s open to everyone, making it a great tool for staying informed about school events and daily activities.
How to access: Available to anyone—just download and start using it!
Cost: Free in the App Store.
Connect
What it is: Our new district-wide communication app.
What it’s used for: Stay connected to your child's classroom, school, and the district with in-app messaging and two-way conversations with school staff.
Why download it: This app is your go-to for direct communication with teachers and school staff. It’s also designed to keep you updated on the latest news and events from the district.
How to access: Accounts are available for parents and guardians. Contact your child’s teacher for an account. Student accounts will be available soon.
Notifications: Get notified through in-app messaging, push notifications, text/SMS messages, phone calls, or email.
Cost: Free in the App Store.
BusZone
What it is: Durham School Services’ app for bus riders.
What it’s used for: Track your child’s bus in real-time and receive notifications about bus delays or issues.
Why download it: Peace of mind for parents! Know exactly where your child’s bus is and if there are any delays.
How to access: Available to parents and guardians.
Notifications: In-app notifications and push alerts.
