Congratulations are in order for two members of Savannah's Speech and Debate Chapter! Juniors Luke Bowie and Ayden Gray are currently ranked as #1 in the State of Missouri in their event Duo Interpretation. Luke and Ayden have been partners in the event since their freshmen year. Their piece this year is an abstract look into the unfortunate cycle that living with trauma can produce. They have decided to give their State Districts spot to fellow friends and squad members so they can focus on the "Big 3" National Tournaments held across the nation this Spring/Summer. They have already qualified to the NIETOC and NCFL Grand National Tournaments; both held this May. They will be competing in a few weeks for a spot at the NSDA Grand National Tournament held this June. Fantastic job representing Savannah and good luck with your national aspirations!
