Congratulations to Cole Horton, singles, doubles team Drew Collier and Matt Collier and doubles team Evan Heftye and Connor Peek on qualifying for the individual state tournament held in Springfield this weekend.
Individual State Tennis Protocols:
– All people entering facility will have a temperature check.
– Spectators (administrators, parents) will be allowed for indoor matches. However, once the matches are completed, spectators will be required to leave the indoor facility in order for other spectators to observe their matches. We need everyone’s cooperation, and understanding, to navigate through this process.
– Springfield-Greene County is still under a mask ordinance.
– Practice social distancing at all times – BOTH Indoors and Outdoors.
- Indoor facilities will NOT be available to players, fans and coaches to loiter.
– Indoors - Masks MUST be worn at all times, except: Officials when officiating, Coaches when coaching, and Players when playing.
– Outdoors – Masks are NOT required unless within 6’ of someone not from household.
– Wash hands or use hand sanitizer at every opportunity.
– The Cooper Tennis Complex “Community Room”, which is where players, coaches and parents typically congregate, will NOT be available during the Championships.
– With very limited indoor space for players and coaches, we recommend each school bring a pop-up tent/cover, they can set up in the “designated” grass area at the complex. This will provide an area for players and coaches to share while minimizing the affect from the weather (ex. sun, heat, etc.).
