Community meeting Monday, May 1st from 6:30 - 8:00 pm in the High School Library

We are moving in the right direction! The community passed a levy over 10 years ago to build a New Middle School. That debt has been paid down to the point that it is possible to move forward with other facility renovations. Recently, the Board of Education secured just over $20,000,000.00 in financing. This debt will continue to be paid by the current levy at no increase to our taxpayers.

Much-needed renovations at Savannah High School have been in the planning stages for over seven years. While the entire project will take close to 24 months to complete, we are excited to move forward with these updates finally. This will mean new and updated classroom spaces, major parking lot renovations, a new auxiliary gym, and much more. I would like to personally invite all of you to join our community meeting at SHS on Monday, May 1st, to get a first-hand look at the blueprints.
