A few weeks ago, one Minnie Cline fourth grader running for student council started a petition to bring back sloppy joes. At the same time, our Food Service Director was already making plans to feature the lunchroom staple this November. One hundred fifty signatures later, the Sloppy Joe has returned to cafeterias across the district! Today, the lunch room was bursting with applause and cheers as the student joined his peers for a meal he's sure to remember.
