Principal - Mark Weis
Mr. Weis began his career at Savannah Middle School in 2002, where he taught physical education and health and coached various sports. In 2012 he began his administrative career at Robidoux Middle School as an assistant principal and took over as lead principal in 2016. Mr. Weis received his Masters in Educational Leadership in 2009 and completed his Ed.S in School Supertinendency in 2021.
Mr. Weis has lived in Savannah since the start of his teaching career and has four children attending various schools within the district. He stays very active with his wife and kids spending time outdoors, traveling, and participating in youth sports.
Assistant Principal - Joanna Hays
Mrs. Hays has been teaching at the secondary level for 14 years, most recently at Branson High School in Branson, MO. She earned her Masters in Educational Leadership in 2011 and is currently pursuing an Ed.S. in School Superintendency. Originally from St. Joseph, she and her family are very excited to move from southwest Missouri, where they have lived for 11 years, and join the Savannah community. Mrs. Hays and her husband Anthony, the new head football coach at Savannah High School, have three children: Mia (12), Luke (9), and Kali (6).
