*Update* There was a malfunction with the fire alarm system at SMS. The building has been cleared and students and staff are being allowed to return.

The fire department is on scene at SMS. At this point, we do not believe there is a fire (just a false alarm). However, students and staff have been evacuated until the building has been checked. More information will be shared once the issue is resolved.

As the Building Trades Class finishes our project house, things are busy! Doors being installed and hardwood floors sanded for finishing. Our students were able to work with the local craftsmen from Sam Church Flooring today and learn from their expert advice.

SHS was able to take 13 band students to Chillicothe for the inaugural MEC All Conference Band event recently. We look forward to taking students for many years to come! #WeAreSR3 #SHSMarchingSavages

SHS choir attended the MEC Festival Choir held at Chillicothe High School last week. #WeAreSR3

21 of our SHS students had the opportunity to attend a writing workshop at MWSU on March 4th. It was a great day to be a writer and celebrate our identities as writers. We had so much fun! #WeAreSR3
