Today, we’re spotlighting the dedicated teams at Amazonia Elementary and Savannah High School, who are deep cleaning, organizing, and making sure everything shines for students' return. 👏 🖤 Help us give them a big THANK YOU in the comments! #SR3Family #WeAreSR3

💡 Did you know? 🧐 Avenue City operates as an independent K-8 school district! Many people assume Avenue City is part of the Savannah R3 School District, but it’s actually separate. After 8th grade, students (and their families) can choose where to attend high school—including Savannah High School! Today, Avenue City 8th graders got a firsthand look at SHS, hearing from former ACES students about why they made Savannah their home. A big thanks to our ACES alumni for sharing their experiences and to our visitors for exploring what SR3 has to offer! We can't wait to officially welcome you to the #SR3Family! #WeAreSR3

☀️Today's beautiful and abundant sunshine makes us feel hopeful that we will have school again one day! 😎 In the meantime, here's a quick look at our snow day tracker. ☃️ We do still have one 'free day' left, but we really don't want to have to use it. 🤞🏼 Once that day's gone, we will have to start adding to our calendar in May. 😢 Can someone turn up the heat, please?? 🥶
